Living room in the 1930s house in Rotterdam with a stained-glass bay window, ceiling moulding and mint-green curtains.

1930s House, Rotterdam

← All projects

The ground floor of a 1930s house in Rotterdam, completely renovated into an open, light-filled living space.

By creating an open kitchen, living, cooking and dining are now connected into one whole.

The mood and color scheme were inspired by an old painting above the fireplace: the anchor point of the interior and the direction of the design.

The result is a warm, welcoming living space where character and contemporary comfort come together.
